about

Jordan Nicole’s serene, emotive paintings reflect her fascination with earthly colors, texture, and fluid movement.

Her paintings begin with a maelstrom of emotion that builds internally, becoming so visceral that the expression of art becomes the only form of release. It’s a chance to immerse herself fully and deeply into creative mystery—blending, sweeping, and pouring washes of paint onto her canvas. Each moment is an opening to release expectation and revel in the experience of flow and spontaneity.

Deep and yet innately subtle, her work finds harmony with the natural elements of a home: stone, wood, fiber, light, and shadow. The result is an atmosphere that emanates an intrinsic sense of peace.

Her work is about beauty, simplicity, presence, and the undone elegance of nature.

In the fall of 2022, she released her textile collection, featuring an array of handwoven wool pillows and throws dyed naturally with plants.

“During my work as an interior designer, textiles were one of my favorite mediums to work with. I love how natural fibers ground a space, especially when paired with artwork that feels close to nature.”

When she’s not painting, she’s typically writing, reading fantasy novels, practicing yoga or exploring beautiful places with her husband and their French bulldog, Papo.
