JORDAN NICOLE (b. 1992, SAN DIEGO, CA) is an artist based in SOUTHERN California. Her work traces the balance between earthly materials and the intangible realms of emotion and creation.

Jordan Nicole’s work emerges from a dialogue between material, emotion, and the quiet mystery of creation itself. Painted on natural textiles, her compositions are shaped as much by the fibers beneath the pigment as by the gestures of her hand. Translucent layers seep into the weave, blurring intention with chance, structure with surrender, clarity with possibility, until each surface feels alive in its stillness.

Her practice is rooted in listening: to inspiration, to pigment, to the histories carried in cotton, wool, linen, and wood. Her work moves through her like breath, a channel between the here-and-now and something unseen. The work is deep yet innately subtle, moving beyond object into vessel, a quiet distillation of time where material, emotion, and the spark of creation converge.

Each piece invites pause, offering the viewer a contemplative space to dwell in the quiet language of texture and tone, where the earthly meets the ethereal.
